His ceramics are exhibited in many public, corporate, and private collections. Steve Dennis, an artist who also works in paper and glass in addition to his many other enterprises, is the creator of the Earthworks Galleries in Yachats and Newport, Oregon. While serving as a full time entrepreneur, somehow he also finds time to return to his ceramics roots. His pots, tile murals, vessels, and slab wall constructions, at times both functional and beautiful, tend to reflect elements from the environment around him. Once a peripatetic potter, he's become a long-time Oregon Coaster, and his glaze work now often depicts the sand dunes and seascapes of his home. Examples of these can be viewed at the Yachats Earthworks Gallery as well as at the Newport Bay Street Gallery, both on the Oregon Coast.
